You have reminded me about learning how to shade with pencils in art class. All I could think was why would you choose to draw with a pencil when there is a world of technicolor with crayons, pastels and paints? I’d pick crayons.
Now We Are Six was my first book, a birthday present when I was six. I read all the poems and learnt them by heart but the all time favourite of that six year old was “ Now we are six”. I felt SSOO grown up and assured. The poem expressed how I felt about myself exactly. I was rather sorry to turn seven.
